This Week’s Menu {July 15-21}

It finally feels like summer! The weather in Ottawa has been ridiculously hot and humid and I couldn’t be happier about it. We hit up a patio in the market on Saturday night, and chilled in my uncle’s pool yesterday evening. Liam’s brother and sister-in-law had their baby yesterday, so I foresee a lot of family time coming up, apart from the reunion this weekend on my side.

The sunshine is reminding be of our trip to Lisbon a few years ago, and this week I am cooking only Portuguese fare:menu.svg

Monday – Something quick on the way to the hospital. I’m an aunt again!

Tuesday – Grilled chouriço (Portugese sausage) on a bun

Wednesday – Pasteis De Bacalhau (salted-cod fritters) with green salad

Thursday – Leftovers

Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Big family gathering up at the lake, so pretty much constant eating and drinking.
