I have been very remiss about posting my weekly menu, but that is because I didn’t feel like writing “toast” or “tuna out of the can”. No one wants to know that. We took a few days to visit out-of-town family for Thanksgiving and I was spoiled out of cooking. The leftover turkey sustained us for a while but when it was gone we resorted to eating crumbs-at-the-back-of-the-fridge. This week I am easing back into the kitchen.
Monday – Egg sandwich for one
Tuesday – Shrimp and Scallops Pasta in Lemon Wine Sauce
Wednesday – Greek Salad with Oregano Marinated Chicken
Thursday – Smoked Meat Sandwiches and a pickle
Friday – Take home dinner from Little Turkish Village
Sunday – Leftover chili (hopefully)
Saturday’s family dinner is a post-Family Portrait party with the in-laws. Time passes so quickly we wanted to get a snap shot off all of us awkwardly standing in formation with our hands on each-others shoulders. Like this:
